Gerede e.V. sees itself as representing the interests of queer people and their relatives. We provide life support for people who, because of their sexual identity, come into conflict with society and, as a result, with themselves.
Our association offers a wide range of counseling, meeting and educational opportunities as well as cultural events. In particular, we accompany and strengthen adolescents and young adults in the difficult phases of self-discovery and coming out.
The association has been a recognized independent youth welfare organization in the city of Dresden since 1995.
We see ourselves as a platform to promote and support integrative and emancipatory offers and projects with a participatory approach in Dresden and Saxony.
Our goal is to achieve social acceptance of sexual and gender diversity.
